Credit and Refund Policy

In our effort to consider children and families that are enrolled in our programs, and also our staff and coaches, the following policies are active for credits and refunds:

We are hopeful and planning that our Soccer Shots season will be able to be completed in person. However, in the event that Soccer Shots in-person sessions cannot continue due to local or federal restrictions, we will credit your account with the remaining balance based on the # of classes left in your session.

Credits can be used at any future site or season within the Central Suffolk Soccer Shots territory and may be used for any child in your family. We will not issue refunds related to not being able to continue with Soccer Shots in-person sessions.

• Attendance - There are NO Refunds or credits for non-attendance at a scheduled class. We typically do not offer makeup classes for missed classes, however during some seasons we have classes that you may be able to attend. Location and schedule will vary. Contact centralsuffolk@soccershots.com to see if we are offering any makeup classes that season.

• Withdrawal - If you are requesting a withdrawal from a class a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the start of the season, you will receive a refund back to the payment source minus a $25 processing fee. After week one, no refunds will be issued.

• Enrollment Fee - There is no refund of the enrollment fee that is charged once every year. When the enrollment fee is charged, you will receive an orange Soccer Shots jersey shipped directly to you. Some programs do not charge enrollment fees (certain township run programs, birthday parties, Free Fun Days...etc).

Make-Up Classes & Cancellations:

• During a season of 8 weeks or longer, whenever possible, we will attempt to make up a maximum of 2 classes due to inclement weather that forces us to cancel a class. If the season is shorter than 8 weeks, we will attempt to make up 1 class due to inclement weather.
• Make-up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class. If a make-up is canceled due to weather, it will not be rescheduled.
• Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.
• Soccer Shots shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event a class is canceled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of classes impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, earthquake, labor strike, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency.

Weather

• All weather related cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page first, and then an email & text message will be sent out. Our goal is to get word to everyone around 2 hours before class starts. We will not cancel a session the night before.

Arrival & Dismissal Policy:

• Grown ups are required to stay with their children at public & park sessions at all times. These are not drop off classes.

What to Wear
Children should be dressed in comfortable clothes and sneakers. Parents/guardians are encouraged to consider the weather when planning for the session, as most of our year-round programs take place outside. Oftentimes, it is helpful to have an extra layer to remove and/or add during days of wind, varying temperatures, and light rain. For after or during school sessions, it's best if children DO NOT get changed for Soccer Shots. As long as children are wearing sneakers and something they can comfortably play in during recess, they will be all set for Soccer Shots. If many children get changed, it often takes away from time on the field.

We also love to see children wear their Soccer Shots Jersey each week!

Cleats and Shin Guards
Cleats and shin guards are not required for our programs, and most children will not wear them until the Premier programs (ages 5-8); even in Premier, cleats and shin guards are not required but many do wear them.

For the sites that have an indoor alternative, sneakers are required for play.

What to Bring
The Soccer Shots coach will supply soccer balls, cones, goals, and all else that is needed for the session. Children should have their own water bottle, and grownups are welcome to bring chairs and/or blankets to enjoy a comfortable view from the sideline!
